The majority of voters think so, according to a recent poll conducted on Twitter. Based on the poll results, more than 2 out of 3 voters (67 percent) believe there are either enough casinos already, or too many casinos in the United States. Despite a poll targeted at a pro-gambling demographic, a whopping 44 percent expressed a belief there are "too many casinos." According to public data, there are currently 508 licensed casinos operating inside the United States. However, at least a dozen states have no form for casino gambling, whatsoever. Hence, these results were surprising. This poll was conducted over Memorial Day weekend.
