With over 30 years of experience coaching the beautiful game, and a lifelong commitment to the sport, Nick has been involved with soccer at all levels from the youth game to the sport’s highest echelons, including the FIFA World Cup. In 2012 he helped make history as he coached Cal FC, a team of amateurs made up of local talent, to an epic run in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. Coaching alongside United States Men’s National Team legend Eric Wynalda, Cal FC became the first amateur team to defeat a Major League Soccer team as we beat the Portland Timbers 1-0 in the 3rd round of the US Open Cup.

As Director, Producer, and an On-Air Talent at Fox Soccer Channel from 2000 to 2012, the channel dubbed Nick the “voice of soccer in America” via the English Premier League broadcast rights. Through his role at FSC, he had the chance to work alongside some of the biggest names in the sport, regularly interacting with the likes of David Beckham, Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, and Pele. Nick was also the chief soccer writer for foxsoccer.com penning articles packed with insight from around the world of soccer.
